Twenty-five years ago, two animated heavy-metal morons played baseball with a frog -- and MTV was off to the races in becoming more than just a music channel. The hyperactive Beavis and his dim-witted pal Butt-Head were virtual music jockeys of a sort, sitting on their couch and watching videos on their dilapidated television while offering commentary on why it was cool or why it sucked. And when they weren't doing that, they were idiotically destroying Mr. Anderson's lawn or forgetting how to pee.

Eventually, Mike Judge's creations went the path of all cultural phenomenons: the feature-length film. Beavis and Butt-Head Do America finds our heroes on a cross-country tour, kicked off by a misunderstanding. Muddy Grimes (voiced by Bruce Willis) is looking for someone to kill his wife, Dallas (Demi Moore). Mistaking the duo (who are in search of their stolen television) for the hitmen, Muddy sends Beavis and Butt-Head to Los Vegas, telling them to "do her" there.

But Dallas catches them, and tricks them into becoming couriers for a deadly device that she wants to send to Washington DC. Now serving as mules, Beavis and Butt-Head set off on the bus tour to end all bus tours, aided by a hard of hearing old woman (Cloris Leachman) and trailed by a determined ATF agent (Robert Stack).

The film incorporates many of the bits that the pair have become known for, including the unforgettable (if unintelligible) Great Cornholio, as well as more run-ins with a vacationing Mr. Anderson.

This 25th anniversary Blu-ray release includes a commentary trakc with Mike Judge and Yvette Kaplan, as well as a handful of "making of" features and a collection of "MTV Celebrity Shorts."
